Philip Sarasin ist emeritierter Professor für Geschichte der Neuzeit und Schweizer Geschichte am Historischen Seminar der Universität Zürich.
In seinem Abendvortrag blickt Prof. em. Dr. Philipp Sarasin ausgehend von neueren Entwicklungen der Wissenschaftsgeschichte zurück auf die Genese des theoretischen Ansatzes der Diskursanalyse  und fragt nach den damaligen epistemologischen Grundlagen und Bezugspunkten.
